Spectra-Physics, has introduced the Talon 355-15, a new addition to its Talon family of Q-switched diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) lasers. The laser delivers >15W UV power, >300µJ pulse energy, and a wide-repetition-rate range of 0 to 500kHz. Talon 355-15 is suitable for powering continuous manufacturing of PCBs, semiconductors, LEDs, ceramics, flat panel displays, solar cells, glass, and other devices and materials.
Available in >15, >12 and >6W UV and >20W green versions, Talon is an out-of-the-box laser, combining power supply and laser head into a single, common rugged package for system integration and intermixing between models to achieve specific end customer requirements. The laser has high reliability for operation in continuous manufacturing applications.
