Spectra-Physics has introduced a green Q-switched laser for microelectronics manufacturing applications.
The Pulseo 532-44 is designed for high-speed, precision cutting and drilling of semiconductors, glass, electronic packages, printed circuit boards, ceramic substrates, and other microelectronics. The laser features >44W average 532nm output power, with short 30ns pulse widths for minimising heat damage to the processed material, and <3 per cent pulse-to-pulse stability for process reproducibility and yields.
