Trumpf has released the TruDisk 1000 disk laser, which has a cuts and welds capability with a 1kW output.
The TruDisk has a beam quality of 2mm*mmrad, which allows the use of a 50 micrometer laser light cable for higher processing speeds.
A feature introduced with the TruDisk 1000 is the control system called TruControl, and a removable and easy to use touch-screen operator panel with turn-push buttons. This touch-screen addition requires minimum floor space and is therefore easily accommodated in any industrial environment.
