Roithner Lasertechnik has introduced a low-price, high-power ULV-445-300 laser diode module with 300mW CW of optical power. The module emits a 445nm blue collimated laser beam. The compact laser head (30 x 30 x 62mm) allows for seamless system integration and silent operation. Although passively cooled, a long time (4 hours) stability of <5 per cent can be obtained. The driver board, designed for a supply voltage of 12VDC, is separated from the laser head, and supports TTL modulation up to 20kHz. The ULV-445 laser module is also readily available with 600mW of CW power.
