Euan McLeod and his students research soft nanophotonic systems: the interaction of light with systems of nanometre-scale components in soft materials such as liquids, colloids or polymers. The group applies its results to biomedical diagnostics, environmental monitoring, chemical sensing and the design and fabrication of novel nanophotonic imaging devices.
