A MIT spin-off is developing an at-home blood testing system based on a silicon photonic chip, which can measure 20 different biomarkers for inflammation, metabolic, hormonal and cardiovascular health.
Developed by former MIT researchers Michael Dubrovsky and Diedrik Vermeulen, founders of SiPhox Health, the blood testing device is the latest in a long trend toward smaller and more scalable devices as they are condensed onto integrated chips.
