Bookham has received the Excellent Core Partner Award from Huawei – a manufacturer of telecoms equipment. Bookham president and CEO, Alain Couder, received the award at the Huawei 2008 Core Partner Convention.
Bookham supplies a wide range of its high end optical components and modules to Huawei, including 10Gb/s co-packaged laser-modulators, receivers, directly modulated and tunable lasers, and 980nm pumps, all of which are assembled in the company’s facility in Shenzhen.
Bookham has invested significantly in local pre- and post-sales customer service and continued to expand its Shenzhen engineering teams. The company works to partner with customers on new product designs, technical support, quality assurance and development planning.
