Crystran has appointed Gary Thomas as its business development manager for high quality laser optics.
Thomas has 35 years of experience polishing very flat optics and high laser damage threshold components and had started his own company Quality Laser Optics. Graham Fancy, Crystran managing director, said: ‘By recruiting Gary Thomas we are pushing ahead. Gary will bring his expertise in the polishing of high-specification, flat glass optics to our company, thus adding a whole new area of business to Crystran.'
Crystran offers optical components in infrared and ultra violet materials and materials such as fused silica, BK7, quartz and zerodur.
