Idex Optics & Photonics has announced that Bob Muscat will lead the Performance Optics business unit as vice-president and general manager for the Albuquerque, NM, Leicester, UK and Kyongki-Do, Korea manufacturing sites that make up the CVI Laser Optics manufacturing family.
Muscat brings extensive experience leading global multi-site manufacturing businesses including environmental and process monitoring, most recently as VP/GM for at Thermo Fisher, along with executive leadership and marketing experience at General Electric and Rock Tenn.
