Delta signs Chinese distribution contract

Delta Optical Thin Film has signed a distribution contract with Chinese company WESI Technology, which is based in Shanghai.

Representatives from Delta will be in China in January 2013 for technical training at WESI’s head office in Shanghai. The agreement follows a Chinese market research campaign, which took place in summer 2012.

‘We have experienced a lot of interest from greater China for our range of market leading interference filters. We anticipate continuous strong growth, as Chinese companies and organisations look to identify proven and reliable optical filter solutions,’ said Dr Oliver Pust, Delta Optical Thin Film’s international business development manager.

The 2012 marketing campaign also involved Delta attending two trade show exhibitions in China.
