Distribution agreement enters fourth dimension

4D Technology, a manufacturer of interferometric optical metrology systems, has entered into a distribution agreement with Tokyo-based Enable KK, for the promotion of 4D products in Japan. The agreement was announced at the Lens Expo 2013 in Yokohama, Japan, where the companies co-presented their products.

'Enable KK, founded by Hideki Ogawa, brings exceptional knowledge and expertise in metrology and process equipment for sophisticated manufacturing,' said James Millerd, president of 4D Technology. 'We believe this partnership will help us improve our ability to access the precision manufacturing market in Japan and to support our growing base of Japanese customers.'

Enable KK provides measurement and manufacturing technologies for optics, medical and automotive manufacturing as well as other industries. 4D Technology develops and manufactures optical metrology instruments for applications in astronomy, aerospace, general optics and other industries.
