The Singapore branch of Edmund Optics (EOSP) has been given a Supplier Excellence Award for Optics Commodities by Life Technologies. Life Technologies is a leading biotechnology tools company that was formed as a result of the combination of Invitrogen Corporation and Applied Biosystems, and which provides more than 50,000 products used by customers around the globe. The award acknowledges Edmund Optics Singapore's performance in supplying moulded lens arrays, lens components, and lens assemblies to Life Technologies Singapore.
Edmund Optics Singapore was selected for this award because of its customer service and technical performance, its ability to consistently meet deadlines for new product development, and its assisting in resolving manufacturing issues with existing product designs. 'We are honoured to receive such praise from a technology leader that is advancing scientific research across the biological spectrum by providing premier systems, services and consumables for researchers worldwide,' said Vincent Thong, EO sales director for Asia.
