Gooch and Housego Orlando receives ISO 9001:2008 certification

Optical component manufacturer Gooch & Housego Orlando has received ISO 9001:2008 certification from international registration body Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance.

This confirms the company’s quality management system meets the requirements of the internationally recognised standard. The company was established as an optical radiation instrumentation, standards, and calibration laboratory in 1970.

The founders of the company were two former National Institute of Standards and Technology, formerly the National Bureau of Standards physicists, that had worked in the field of spectroradiometry and electro-optical technology.
