Hamamatsu Photonics has announced that it will begin construction of a new building at its Toyooka factory, the primary manufacturing location of the Electron Tube Division. The new building will serve to increase the division’s capacity for photomultiplier tube manufacturing. It will be built on reclaimed land in the northern part of the factory which is located in Iwata City, Japan.
The new building is expected to be completed by January 2015.
