JPSA appoints customer services manager

JP Sercel Associates, a US-based provider of high quality industrial laser scribing systems, has appointed James Porter as its worldwide customer service manager. Porter brings more than 12 years' experience managing customer service departments of advanced technology companies in the semiconductor industry. He will focus on building an infrastructure to create a world class customer service organisation for JPSA's customers.

Porter was most recently director of service and customer support at BlueShift Technologies, where he established the service framework for their automation equipment. Prior to that, he was global product support manager at Cameca Instruments, a manufacturer of metrology equipment for the semiconductor industry, for 10 years.
