Laser Components has appointed Uwe Schallenberg as its head of production of the optical technologies department.
Schallenberg has more than 35 years of experience in thin-film technology. After receiving his diploma in physics from the University of Jena in Germany, he specialised in optical thin-films. Most recently Schallenberg worked as a consulting engineer.
Patrick Paul, general manager of Laser Components, said: ‘I am excited that we could win Uwe Schallenberg who is an expert in this field with many years of experience.’
