New sales VP for Inrad

Inrad Optics has announced the promotion of George Murray to vice president of sales and marketing.

Murray joined the company as sales manager in 2010. Prior to joining Inrad, he held increasingly responsible roles in applications engineering, product marketing, and sales management including international sales.

Amy Eskilson, president and CEO, commented: 'George has an ability to quickly understand each customer’s unique set of needs. His broad knowledge of both Inrad Optics product line and the markets we serve is well-known within our organisation. I welcome George in his new and influential role.'

Murray said: 'I look forward to leading our sales team in achieving Inrad Optics’ strategic vision. It is a pleasure to work at a company with such a strong heritage and deep knowledge base.'

Murray holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Hartford Campus.
