US-based company nLight has closed its acquisition of Liekki, which is based in Lohja, Finland.
Swedish DPSS laser supplier Cobolt has moved to a new, modern facility in Stockholm. The 400m2 clean-room factory provides three times the previous production capacity. The new facility will host Cobolt’s complete manufacturing line, R&D labs, as well as its sales force and management.
Andor Technology has adopted environmentally-friendly initiatives to recycle waste and reduce energy consumption in the production of its spectroscopy and imaging equipment. The company will reduce the levels of hazardous substances in electronic equipment, and all products will now be shipped in recyclable cardboard packaging.
