Philips, Optima Research and Bookham have all experienced changes to their management in the past few weeks.
Dr Giorgio Anania has stepped down from his position as Bookham’s president and CEO with Dr Peter Bordui, the current non-executive chairman temporarily filling the positions. It was a mutual decision between Anania and Bookham’s board of directors.
Dialight Lumidrives has appointed Patrick Van Der Meulen as European OEM technical sales manager. Patrick has more than 12 years’ experience in the lighting industry, most recently with Philips Lighting Development Laboratories.
Optima Research has appointed Michael Johnson as technical sales engineer. Mike has a masters degree in photonics and optoelectronic devices from the University of St Andrews, and will be involved in sales and technical support of Zemax’s products.
