Dialight Lumidrives has made two key appointments with Paul Williams as north and midlands sales manager and Carl George as design engineer.
Paul joins Dialight Lumidrives with over 22 years’ experience in the lighting industry. He has previously worked in product sales for DW Windsor, Philips and Concord. Carl, 28, joins as design engineer having worked as a design and development engineer for Victor Manufacturing.
Dr Michael Körsten has become the manager for US sales in the Laser Micro Division at Rofin/Baasel Lasertech.
Rob Randelman has been appointed president of Ocean Optics. Mike Morris, the former president and the company founder, is now the vice chairman of the company. Randelman joined Ocean Optics in 2006 as vice president of sales and marketing.
Dr Donal Denvir, co-founder of Andor Technology, has been awarded a Gold Medal from the UK Institute of Physics, for his work on high-performance digital cameras. The Business and Innovation medal of the Institute of Physics is awarded to individuals for outstanding contributions to the organisation or application of physics in an industrial or commercial context.
