Intense has appointed three new sales and business development executives. Michael Fichtner, a veteran from the electronics industry, will serve as business development director of high-power lasers in Europe. Matthew Philpott, joins Intense from Coherent as the business development director for North America. Scott Grayman, formerly from Laser Diode, a division of Tyco Electronics, will serve as account manager to oversee all key account sales of Intense-HPD laser diodes.
DataLase has appointed Olaf Jepsen as its new European sales manager. Jepsen has more than 20 years' experience in managerial sales positions for companies such as 4G Systems and Altec.
Dialight Lumidrives has made two key appointments, with Paul Williams as north and midlands sales manager, and Carl George as design engineer. Williams joins Dialight Lumidrives with more than 22 years’ experience in the lighting industry. He has previously worked in product sales for DW Windsor, Philips and Concord. Carl, 28, joins as design engineer having worked as a design and development engineer for Victor Manufacturing.
