Rofin-Baasel has appointed two new sales staff. Paul Hughes will represent the Laser Marking Division, and Adrian Bolton will support the Micro Division.
Ocean Optics has appointed Hwan Kim as an optical research scientist. Kim, who has a PhD from the University of Central Florida, will focus on characterising and supporting the company’s existing products and developing new optical measurement technologies.
Aculight Corporation has appointed Robert Afzal as the vice president of research and development. Afzal has been promoted from the position of director of technology development at Aculight, and previously held positions at Nasa and Spectra Systems. Cheryl DeBoise also joins the company from Plymouth Housing as chief financial officer.
