Princeton Instruments gets new German sales director

Ulrike Helfferich has started work as the sales director for the German market for Roper Industries brand Princeton Instruments, while employed with its sister company Roper Scientific.

Working at Roper Scientific, Helfferich will be responsible for sales and market development in Germany for Princeton Instruments’ spectrographs and cameras for scientific and industrial use. Princeton Instruments designs and manufactures charge coupled devices (CCD), intensified CCD, and electron multiplying CCD cameras, spectrographs and optics-based solutions for the scientific research, industrial imaging, and OEM communities. Helfferich has many years of sales and application experience in the photonic and opto-electronic markets.

Princeton Instruments sales and marketing vice president Bill Keating, said: ‘I am happy to welcome Ms Helfferich as sales director for our German sales office. I believe she will be a key contributor in supporting our current customers, as well as expanding our customer base.’

Helfferich takes over from Willy Pfanhauser, managing director, who retires after a long career in the scientific photonics industry.
