Richardson Gratings, a Newport Corporation business, has announced that Pro-Lite Technology has been appointed as its distributor for its diffraction grating products in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Dr Christopher Palmer, senior director and general manager of Richardson Gratings, said ‘We are delighted to be working with Pro-Lite. Founded in 1947, Richardson Gratings designs and manufactures standard and custom diffraction gratings for use in analytical instrumentation, lasers and tuneable light sources, fibre optic telecommunications networks and photolithographic systems, as well as for researchers, astronomers and educators.
Pro-Lite Technology, founded in 2002, has supplied specialist equipment and services with a technical focus in the following areas of photonics: instruments for measuring light and the optical properties of materials; lasers and related equipment; opto-mechanics and positioning equipment; optics and optical materials; and software tools for enhancing photonic productivity.
