Univet has released its model 559 goggle, laser safety goggles designed for protection from high-power laser sources and which joins the 559 glasses version.
The goggles provide excellent protection levels (D LB8) and are equipped with an aluminium alloy shell 2mm thick to guarantee maximum protection in the case of direct laser radiation. It can be equipped with interferential glass filters able to stop laser radiation at high protection levels. Polycarbonate absorbing filters can also be fitted in the goggles extending the range of laser sources.
The wrapping design of the model allows the user to wear them over prescription glasses.
