Amplifier model A50-A

Share this on social media:

Midaz DPSS air-cooled amplifier model A50-A has been used by a manufacturer of microchip lasers to amplify the laser's output power. The microchip lasers with sub-nanosecond pulse duration at 50kHz and 200mW output power have been amplified to >15W using the model.

The manufacturer of the microchip laser was looking to significantly increase its laser output power by using a single stage amplifier module. The laser-amplifier solution eliminates cost and complexity of using multiple pre-amp stages. The combination of seed laser and amplifier can easily integrate into laser systems for micromachining and marking or can be used for research and development.
