UK distributor Laser Lines has introduced the Arex, an ultra-compact fibre laser from Datalogic, which is ideal for marking applications.
With the smallest marking head footprint (112 x 298 x 90mm), the Arex drastically simplifies the design effort for system integrators and enables easy installations ranging from standalone marking stations to fully automated production cells.
Using fibre technology, Arex provides high speed marking on metal and plastic components, typically for automotive, electronics and medical device traceability marking requirements. Marking on the fly, circumferential marking and independent axis control (up to four) are all possible with the embedded digital controller.
The Arex is available now in 10W and 20W models, and a new 30W model is to be released imminently.
