Limo has expanded the product portfolio of its BTS (Beam Transformation System) to accommodate a wider range of wavelengths (from 600nm to 1,600nm). A compact version is available that has the advantage of smaller size without restriction of the optical properties, and increased cost-effectiveness.
This beam transformation optic is used for collimation and beam shaping of diode bars. It can shape extremely asymmetrical light emitted by the bars into symmetrical beam profiles. Thus, the optics enhance an efficient fibre coupling.
