Laser Physics UK has released the PLD10K-CH 10 Amp Laser Diode Driver, expanding its Wavelength Electronics PLD series of laser diode drivers.It is similar to the PLD10000, but in a smaller OEM package that leaves the heatsinking to the user. This PLD includes user adjustments, status indicators, and cabling. It drives any configuration laser diode in constant power or constant current mode.
With an option to use a high compliance voltage, multiple laser diodes can be run in series. This is ideal for applications where current stability is critical and space is tight, such as desktop inspection instruments or medical diagnostic equipment.
