Credo Ti:Sa-Laser

Sirah has released the compact, solid-state, high-repetition rate Credo Titanium:Sapphire-laser, designed for applications where a wide tuning-range and high pulse-intensity with narrow line-width is needed. The laser is available from Photonic Solutions.

Typical applications are atmospheric research, combustion research, materials science, semiconductor technology, and environmental analysis. The Credo Ti:Sa can be pumped by lasers with adjustable pulse repetition rates between 1 and 10kHz at 527nm, and pulse durations of approximately 120ns. The long pump pulse duration will result in more than one pulse from the Credo Ti:Sa. Therefore, the Credo Ti:Sa cavity can use a Pockel's cell, which is used to generate a single powerful pulse.
