Newport’s Spectra-Physics Lasers division has launched two lasers: the Explorer 532 and Pulseo.
The Explorer 532 one watt laser is specifically targeted for customers that want to equip their scribing tools with multiple low power sources without complex and costly beam splitting optics.
The Pulseo has 20W of output power at 355nm and a short pulse width of 20ns at a repetition rate of 100kHz, for applications such as edge-isolation of crystalline silicon cells, laser-buried contacts, via hole drilling, trenching and micro-machining processes.
