Sperian Protection has expanded its line of high transmission (HT) filters and now offers an HT Diode and YAG filter for its line of laser safety eyewear. Filter 162 has EN 207 protection levels 800-820 DI L6 and 920-1064 DIR L6, with a VLT of 56 per cent. Sperian claims that this level of light transmission represents an increase of more than 12 per cent over that of similar filters produced by the company's competitors.
The new HT Diode and YAG filter is currently available in the recently-launched Sperian Milan laser eyewear and the popular GPT XC laser eyewear. The GPT XC features custom adjustments and patented multi-material technology for added comfort. Both feature anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings and come with a lifetime warranty for both frame and filter. This new HT filter is also available in the large Encore over-the-glass spectacle for individuals that wear prescription eyewear.
