Newport has launched a family of HybrYX motion stages the use both mechanical and air bearing technologies.
The motion stages provide a good straightness (sub 10um deviation over 2m travel), ultra long life zero-wear bearings and low cost.
The HybrYX stage is ideally suited for large panel thin film scribing applications where the stage can cover many tens of thousands of kilometres of travel in a year.
