Instrument Systems wins Sapphire Award 2016

Instrument Systems, Munich, has won the LEDs Magazine Sapphire Award 2016 in the category ‘Tools and Tests in SSL Design’. The award-winning burning correction method allows easy and cost-efficient measurements following CIE S025 with the LGS 1000 far-field goniophotometer. As an alternative to expensive rotating mirror goniophotometers, more users will now have access to high class SSL measurement results worldwide.

Evaluated by a panel of independent LED-industry experts, the burning correction method from Instrument Systems stands for one of the greatest achievements in solid-state-lighting from an enabling-technology perspective.

The award has been presented at the Sapphire Awards Gala Ceremony on March 2, 2016 during Strategies in Light in Santa Clara, CA.
