Since April 2015 Dr. Holger Schlüter is working for Laser 2000 and handles the kW laser business as the Head of business development.
With Dr. Holger Schlüter the company wins a prominent expert in the field of high power lasers. He spent 8 years in the United States and has been active in the field since 1993. Dr. Schlüter holds several patents in the field of laser resonators and laser applications.
After his master’s degree in Physics with the focus on solid state physics at the RWTH Aachen, he received his doctorate at the Institute for Lasertechnology in Aachen.
He started his professional career at TRUMPF and was responsible for the production, development and sales of high power lasers in North America. He spent several years in Connecticut as well as in New Jersey.
Subsequently he was COO at Technolas Perfect Vision GmbH and managing director at HIGHYAG.
Dr. Schlüter, who is father of three children, balances his work with biking in the summer and skiing in the winter.
