This month, laser diode manufacturer Laser Operations has appointed Soliton as a non-exclusive distributor for Germany, Austria, German-speaking Switzerland and Poland, and Indeco as the non-exclusive distributor for Japan.
Indeco will concentrate on all the markets addressed by the company’s products and technology. This partnership is Laser Operations' latest expansion into the Asia Pacific market. Laser Operation's products are already distributed in Singapore, Taiwan, Korea and China. Soliton will initially be focused on the non-medical markets.
In February, Laser Operations appointed Michael Wang as an in-house consultant for China. He has the responsibility of advising the company on the business opportunities in China. He also manages the company’s local distributors.
From its California headquarters Laser operations sells into several markets including medical, defense, industrial and consumer displays.
