LTB Lasertechnik Berlin GmbH has launched LIBSPECTOR – a compact and intuitive to operate sample chamber for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of solid, liquid and gaseous samples by means of laser-induced plasma spectroscopy (LIBS).
By expanding the product portfolio with the LIBSPECTOR, LTB can now offer its customers complete LIBS based systems for elemental analysis that meet all requirements in science as well as in industry-related quality control. In combination with a high-resolution echelle spectrometer from the ARYELLE and DEMON series and a suitable laser for plasma ignition the LIBSPECTOR meets all requirements for a flexible and safe to use LIBS system.
Sample mapping is provided by an integrated motorized and software-controlled XYZ-stage. For precise sample positioning and focusing, a pilot laser and a real-time video monitoring are installed. Several sample holders for solid, liquid and gaseous substances provide universal application capability. The LIBSPECTOR comes with a laser class 1 housing and is equipped with safety interlock and laser protection window for safe observation. No additional laser safety precautions are therefore required at installation site.
