Excelitas Technologies has introduced the 6W LS-6 series, the newest addition to its PAX Family of xenon light sources. The series features improved efficiency, upgraded electronics and enhanced enclosure design for biomedical technology applications.
The LS-6 is a compact solution that contains the flash lamp, power supply and the trigger circuit within an electromagnetic interference suppressant enclosure. It features short arc xenon flash lamps which have high stability (<1 per cent CV) and a long lifetime. The light sources, which generate light over a continuous spectrum, from ultraviolet to infrared, are designed for healthcare, analytical and life science applications including drug discovery, in-vitro diagnostics, proteomics and absorption analysis.
In addition, the LS-6 light sources offer flexible mounting, providing manufacturers with easy integration at a low cost.
