Mitsubishi has released its ML3XX2 series its high power, high efficiency blue-violet semiconductor laser series.
The devices provide a stable, single transverse mode oscillation with emission wavelength of 405nm (typical). Standard pulse light output is 250mW, with CW output power at 140mW. The device features high efficiency (1.5W/A typ)5.6mm (ML320G2) and 3.8mm (ML329G2) diameter TO-can versions of this device are available from Pacer.
