New Infrared Technologies has launched a new range of MWIR uncooled PbSe IR imaging detectors and sensors, based on the FPA 2M-32-100, a 32x32 FPA, with 100 microns pixel size, x-y addressed readout method, and fully operative at room temperature. This reduces the complexity, power consumption, size, weight and cost of the EO subsystem. NETD value at 25°C is under 150mK.
The sensors are targeted at both the defence and security market (active protection systems, muzzle flash detection, unattended sensors, sensor-fused countermeasures, among others) and civilian and industrial market (NDT, process control, fire and gas detection, and spectroradiometry, among others).
