Lumics GmbH, a leading provider of high-power diode laser components and part of the Berlin.Industrial.Group (B.I.G.), is pleased to announce that Beate Sauter and Dennis George have been appointed as Chief Executive Officers of the company effective immediately.
Beate Sauter Beate has more than 23 years of international management experience in the laser & photonics industry and is a globally recognized technical sales and application expert in this market. She joined Lumics in 2013 and has been instrumental in leaping the company forward to becoming one of the top leaders of diode laser solutions for medical & life-science applications as well as other profitable niche markets in industry and science. Prior to Lumics Beate held senior management positions at a number of leading photonics companies, including Sales Director Europe for US diode-maker Intense, Key Account Manager South Europe for Edmund Optics, and Director Sales & Marketing for Toptica Photonics where she played a key role in the company’s first years. She also serves as mentor within the EPIC Photonics Mentorship programme. Beate studied International Business at the Karlshochschule International University Karlsruhe. In addition to her role as CEO Beate will continue to serve as VP Sales & Marketing.

Dennis George Dennis has been with the Berlin.Industrial.Group for more than 3 years as Finance Manager where he was already the responsible portfolio manager for Lumics. Dennis received his MS in International Finance from the Berlin School of Economics & Law. Prior to B.I.G. and Lumics, Dennis worked as a Finance Consultant with Ebner Stolz.
