IB/E and Lambda Research have released IB/E's optimisation module for TracePro, called OptiBelPro, which makes the optimisation of illumination systems possible with TracePro.
The design of illumination systems can be based on a wide range of diverse requirements, but often the most important requirement is maximising intensity of light distribution. IB/E's OptiBelPro allows users to take account of uniformity of light distribution.
The module uses Scheme, TracePro's powerful macro language, and allows users the flexibility to modify analysis functions and define custom merit functions. Therefore the creation of user-defined irradiation distributions is now possible and easy in TracePro.
