Portable 1,064nm Raman spectroscopy device

Andor Technology has released a portable spectroscopic instrument that allows up to three times greater collection efficiency than standard Czerny-Turner spectrographs.

This instrument is dedicated to 1,064nm Raman Spectroscopy. Based around the Andor iDus InGaAs detector array camera and Bayspec’s high throughput Volume Phase Holographic Gratings (VPHG) spectrograph, the instrument offers price/performance benefits whilst also a providing thermo-electric (TE) detector cooling down to -85ºC, USB2.0 plug and play connectivity, F/1.8 aperture and spectral resolution of 8 cm-1 alongside with 3,000 cm-1 spectral coverage.
