Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced its latest position sensitive detector (PSD) modules, the C10442 and C10443 series. The C10442 has three versions featuring either a 3mm, 6mm or 12mm linear PSD. Combined with an amplifier circuit it delivers an output of >50V/mW at 900nm. The C10443 is also available in three versions, offering either a 4 x 4mm, 9 x 9mm or 12 x 12mm area pin cushion PSD. Combined with an amplifier circuit it gives an output of 60V/mW at 950nm. The C10442 and C10443 can be used for a wide variety of applications including LIDAR and optical range finding, optical axis and laser beam alignment, 3D and distortion measurement and liquid level sensors.
