Laser Components has introduced the SLM (single longitudinal mode) range of laser modules, available from PD-LD. Using patented VBG stabilisation technology, the SLM series is able to lock into a stable, single longitudinal mode ideal for applications traditionally performed by a gas laser.
Boasting less than 1 per cent pkpk power stability, wavelength stability of +/-2pm and a spectral line width of 10MHz, the laser is ideal for microscopy, metrology, interferometry, and Raman spectroscopy. The compact, single box design combined with incredibly low power consumption makes the SLM series the ideal OEM solution.
