Spectrolaser elemental analysis system

Photon Machines (Redmond, Washington, USA) has added the Spectrolaser system, developed by Laser Analysis Technologies, to its line of LIBS-based (laser breakdown spectroscopy) elemental analysers.

The Spectrolaser is designed for rapid analysis of elemental concentrations using LIBS. The Spectrolaser system software is compatible with both traditional analysis methods and advanced chemometric methods, allowing instantaneous reporting of quantitative elemental concentrations from each sample measured. Benefits of the method include speed, simplicity, multi-element analysis capability, and the ability to measure light elements such as C, B, Be, and Li, with which many other methods have difficulty.

Laser Analysis Technologies (LAT) is a subsidiary of XRF Scientific, and both companies are based in Australia.
