The new StarFiber lasers from Rofin Laser Micro provide 100W and 200W beams with beam parameters suitable for fine welding and cutting. They can provide either CW or pulsed output, with fundamental mode beam quality.
The laser sources can achieve high welding speeds with small spot sizes, using less energy and requiring a lower heat input. The lasers can weld thin metal sheets and foils as well as electro-mechanic components and medical implants. The lasers are compact and robust.
