EOPC has introduced a sub-miniature non-MEMS scanner for small-size imaging systems, suitable for long-life optical scanner, high-volume dedicated applications. The lightweight, long-life device features a mirror available in 6mm diameter, 7x7mm or 12x7mm. It features one fixed frequency to 1kHz, a scan angle to 50 deg PTP optical, and low power electronics.
The miniature electromagnetically-driven moving mirror device deflects a light beam with a continuous sinusoidal motion. The low-cost scanner is ideal for use in imaging instruments, and fits emerging trends of building smaller, portable and handheld systems that are more affordable and less expensive.
