Edmund Optics has introduced Techspec crossed-roller bearing pre-assembled z-axis translation stages. These versatile stages combine the company's Techspec single axis crossed-roller translation stages with a z-axis bracket to conveniently create a pre-assembled z-axis configuration, off-the-shelf, ready for immediate use in a wide variety of applications that require z-axis movement.
The stages provide high accuracy and excellent rigidity. As they are pre-assembled, these stages save the customer time in configuring the z-axis for convenience and ease of use. They can be integrated with Techspec linear stages to make an x-z stage or an x-y-z stage assembly. They are available in four sizes: 30mm, 40mm, 70mm and 125mm. Models are available with a choice of centre drive or side drive, in either English or Metric configuration, with a solid table top or thru-hole versions for maximum flexibility for a large range of uses.
