Optima Research has introduced its Zemax software, an affordable, state of the art product for the design and optimisation of complex optical systems. The software is suitable for applications including lens design, lighting, illumination, laser beam propagation, and stray light analysis, and supports CAD import/export, multi-threaded ray-tracing, and analysis with up to 32 CPUs. Zemax-EE combines sequential and non-sequential modes within a common interface, making it easy to use.
